Our Story

Established in 2016, BC Weed Co. was created by enthusiasts for enthusiasts who love B.C. Weed. We focused on the safe preservation of the terpene profile, structure, and cannabinoids of excellent genetics. There is so much more to cannabis than a high THC%

Award-winning cultivars were hunted from Kootenay to the Gulf Islands, like Strawberry Cream, Jager OG, Humboldt Black Gold, Charlottes Web, Sour Tsunami, SJ, Island Pink, D Bubba, Lindsay OG, Tuna, and Rockstar. We are dedicated to preserving the cannabis legacy and history found in B.C. while bringing back some of your favourite genetics.

Our Process

BC Weed Co. preserves flower naturally with an incredible shelf life by employing traditional and innovative methods to test and pack cannabis in classic cans.

Our lids are safe yet operational and made to reseal or reuse cans when needed.

Metal ring pull-tab lids to lock in freshness. The can is airtight, waterproof, leakproof, and tamper-proof when unopened.

Proudly grown in British Colombia by passionate experts, our cannabis is hang-dried, hand trimmed, and cold-slow-cured.

Nitrogen removes all oxygen to prevent terpene and cannabinoid degradation. Our can stores cannabis in complete darkness, preserving the natural profile.

Every BC Weed Co. Can is 100% recyclable and made from recycled, repurposed, or recyclable materials. Recycling cans like ours reduce the amount ending up in landfills by almost 55%

Over 40 years in the making, Pure Fire Co. was established to bring legacy genetics and expertise to today’s market. Founder Cody Lewis has inherited a wealth of knowledge from his father, Bill, who has been involved in the legacy cannabis industry since the early 1980s. With Bill’s knowledge and Cody’s drive for excellence, PureFire is more than just a family affair; it is a passion project built on tradition, quality, and a pursuit of the finest cannabis experience.

Cultivated in the North Okanagan, B.C., and led by lifelong friends Jason Brown and Carl Correia, the Lotus team of legacy cannabis growers dedicate their time and passion to the cultivation of our highly sought-after collection of premium cannabis genetics.
